Visit one of the most famous parks in Canada. With its lush green trees, bike and walking trails, scenery and hiking paths, this place is an adventure! Stop by the Vancouver Aquarium, or have lunch at the Fish House. Take a trolley for free, or take the kids to the water park.
#2: Granville Island
Visit famous Granville Island and head to the market for some fresh fruit and vegetables. You can have lunch at Bridges or eat within the market. Great fun for the family! Take an Aqua Bus and enjoy all the festivities, Train Museum, arts and crafts and live music events.
#3: Robson Street
Robson Street is jam-packed with shops for you to do some window shopping. You don't have to spend any money and you can just stroll up and down the street amongst many Vancouverites.
#4: Head to the Beach
You can head to one of the many beaches in Vancouver. There is English Bay, Kitsilano Beach, Second Beach, Third Beach, Spanish Banks and more! Enjoy some fun in the sun on the beach or grab a blanket and have a budget style picnic.
#5: Gastown
Head to Gastown and enjoy being in the birthplace of Vancouver. There are historical sights to see and many Native Art stores to browse through. Gastown is very unique and the cobblestone streets will capture your heart. Listen to the Westminster chime from the antique steam clock and see a statue of Gassy Jack, the man who opened the first saloon.
