This travel update is for people who are going to be returning to the USA after the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Passengers who will be returning to the United States, or traveling to the United States after the 2010 Olympic Games should be aware that they are prohibited from taking any carry-on baggage through the security screening. These security measures do not apply to checked-in baggage.
Exceptions to these security measures include small purses, coats, medical devices, medication, pets, care items for infants, consular or diplomatic bags, special needs item, laptop bag, laptop computers, walkers, canes, crutches, life sustaining items in containers, and musical instruments.
