Guide Review - Opus Hotel Vancouver
This posh hotel opened in 2002 and now has another hotel in Montreal. It is the newest hotel in Vancouver, and it remains Yaletown’s only hotel. It’s close to quality shopping, dining, and nightlife. Everything is at your fingertips when staying at the Opus! The rooms are designed in their own unique, colorful way, ranging from contemporary to minimalist. Each room seems to have a certain personality of their own depending on the colors and layout. Some Opus rooms are soothing blue, and some fiery red, almost as if earth, air, fire, water theme is the concept. All the rooms are stylish, and comfortable with custom designed furniture, and furnishings. If you’re tired of boring wallpaper, and bland hotel interiors, then Opus will win your heart.

Book one of the seventh floor corner suites and you are guaranteed to have a good view. Fitness fanatics will love a stop by the Opus Gym, where you can work out on top equipment while people watching out of these massive windows. People traveling on business can use the business center for free, as well as guests visiting for leisure.

In the summertime Opus becomes a hot spot for a classy crowd. The Opus Bar offers internationally flavored tapas, as well as many classy, taste bud tingling martinis. Opus’s restaurant, Elixir, offers guests, as well as visitors, a tasty treat of French brasserie food. On top of all this, there is also a private hotel car to take you touring around the city of Vancouver!
