  This is a beacon for the artist. It has painting throughout and is truly a funky, yet cozy hotel. Located right in historic Gastown, this hotel has a lot to offer both trendy, and the funky communities.
  Historic:
  This building was established in 1899 and has a large historical influence in the area of Gastown. It has a European character with its arches and brick patterns, and is known as the first estabishment to serve ladies liquor back in 1925.

  It is not exactly a place you would let your mom stay at, but the room rates are cheap and can fit within any travel budget. Great for business travelers.
