1. Crab Park Canada Day Festival

This annual outdoor event is for the people of Downtown Eastside and keeping the park green. There will be performances by the Parlour Steps, Rich Hope, and Andy Collins and Band.

2. Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks

The Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society lights up the sky on Canada Day. It is multi-colored and attracts thousands of viewers together every year. You will be able to see fireworks from many areas around Vancouver such as North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Downtown Vancouver and the West Side.

4. Canada Day at Canada Place

When: July 1st, 2008, Tuesday.
Party all day long celebrating the 141st birthday of our nation on July 1st.
Enjoy fireworks and patriotic celebrations as each city set up their entertainment for Canada Day. Free samples of traditional maple taffy, a kid's interactive zone and an air show by Canadian Forces.

5. Canada Day on Robson

Enjoy Brazilian music and funk band Soulstream along with family friendly fun and street performers.

6. Granville Island Celebrates Canada Day

Where: Granville Island on Canada Day

7. Capilano Suspension Bridge Celebrates Canada Day

8. Canada Day in Surrey

Where: Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre, Surrey.

See bands Payolas headline and Loveryboy with BMX demos and kid-friendly rides. Rock 101 will play music while fireworks explode in the sky.

9. North Vancouver Canada Day Celebration

Where: Waterfront Park, 200-block of W. Esplanade, N Van, 12:30-4:30 pm.

10. Canada Day Club Crawl
