Get ready for one of the best and most explosive celebrations in Vancouver! The HSBC Celebration of Light is coming back to Vancouver as it does every year. It is also known as the Symphony of Fire and has a fabulous selection of music playing while each country competes. These are the best four nights of firework displays you have ever seen. It all began in 1990 when this event became one of the largest in the world. English Bay is sure to be packed with people from all over the globe.

The dates are as follows:

July 22rd - CANADA
July 25th - SOUTH AFRICA
July 29th - UNITED KINGDOM
August 1st - CHINA

All of the shows will begin at 10pm (rain or shine) and you can watch the competition from Vanier Park, West Vancouver, English Bay, Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach and from most areas and balconies downtown. There is no point in driving to this event as the roads will be packed with people.

There is limited parking so it might be best to take the bus or walk if you’re local. It is a great event to take the family or go with friends. Have fun! For more information click here.
