Granville Island is promising to be especially lively this weekend with its Winterruption festival -- Feb. 22-24, 2013. Me? My interest is piqued by the special, new doughnut available all weekend at Lee's Donuts.
Some other highlights of the weekend-long event include:
- DJs and food trucks at Street Eats and Beats Under the Bridge, Friday and Saturday nights
- Jazz shows at Performance Works, Friday-Sunday nights
- Juste Pour Rire comedy show at the Waterfront Theatre, Friday night
- Pop up Dances at various island locations, Saturday and Sunday
- A festival-themed doughnut at Lee's Donuts, all weekend
