Last of Luminescence at Vancouver Aquarium

There's one week left to see Luminescence at the Vancouver Aquarium. The temporary exhibit Vancouver Aquariumhighlights brightness in the dark ocean depths -- with light-emitting tanks of mesmerizing jellyfish and an electric eel. There's also a daily educational session, almost-neon coral, and flashing schools of fish as part of the exhibit.

But Luminescence aside, the Vancouver Aquarium is always a reliable rainy day destination. Just bring an umbrella, wear warm layers (many of the shows happen outdoors), and go enjoy this superb Stanley Park attraction.

Also, be sure to take a look at the aquarium's daily schedule. You won't want to miss the dolphin and beluga shows -- and the loud, barking sea lions will remind you to visit them too.
