Vancouver International Airport has a little present for those traveling out of YVR this holiday season. The airport is offering discounted parking in its long-term lots -- in some cases more than 60 percent off regular rates.
A shuttle connects the long-term parking lot with the airport terminal, so you'll need to allow an 30-60 minutes to park and catch the bus. Coupons are available on the airport website.
Long-term parking deals that run Dec. 25 to Jan. 6 include:
- $9.96 per day when picking up your car between Dec. 25 and Jan. 6
- $39.85 per week
And until Feb. 28, 2013:
- $10.49 per day
- $44.95 per week
- $99 per month
Note that parking taxes (21%) and HST (12%) apply to these rates.
A cheaper option is to take the Canada Line to the airport. But, regardless of how you travel, happy flying!
