Downtown Lunch at Hubbub

Hubbub Sandwiches is the opposite of most mainstream sandwich shops. There aren't oodles of toppings, or six kinds of bread. Instead, the well-priced lunch sandwich comes with an option of protein (including a messy-but-delicious slow-roasted pork) and the house fixings: caramelized onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and garlic sauce.

The result is a beautiful sandwich on a crisp, but not tough, baguette. It's softly spicy, flavorful, and big.

The sandwich shop is one of many great places to eat in Downtown Vancouver. And it's only about two minutes from the Vancouver Art Gallery, Robson Street shopping, and the free ice-skating rink.
