Given the name Main Street, you can guess the avenue is pretty central to Vancouver. But the neighborhood attractions are not necessarily easy to find for first-time visitors, given that they stretch from the north to the south ends of the street and also branch east and west.
So, here's my rundown of things to do near Main Street.
If you take on a visit to the area, you'll find yourself watching synchronized fountains in Queen Elizabeth Park, doing silly experiments at Science World, and sampling gourmet doughnuts. And, like any great neighborhood, there's also noteworthy shopping, late-night dining, and a fun crowd of locals.
