Not too Early for Vancouver New Year's Plans

If you'll be visiting Vancouver for New Year's Eve, book ahead. There are no public celebrations, no fireworks, and no free concerts in the city, so you'll need to plan well in advance for a special evening out.

But the options are many, ranging from snowshoeing and boat cruises to luxury hotel galas and masked parties at downtown clubs. Here's my rundown of where to ring the New Year in Vancouver.
