Old-growth Douglas firs, needle-packed woodland trails, and two waterfalls are my top reasons to visit Cypress Falls Park in West Vancouver. The two sizable waterfalls (both 30 or more feet high) in particular are a rarity, especially in a spot that's so close to Vancouver but feels secluded.
Walk five minutes to the plunging lower falls, or 15 minutes further to a two-tiered upper falls. Plus the park receives far fewer visits than Lynn Canyon or Cypress Provincial parks.
