It is possible to get lost in Vancouver with all its one way streets downtown and the streets run northwest to southeast which can be tricky. It is a city full of tree lined streets, hills, beaches and mountains and there is a different neighborhood at every turn. It is very important to have a maps to help you find your way around the city of Vancouver. Local Vancouverites are very friendly and you can always ask for help if you are lost. Make sure you get your maps before you go or when you arrive.
